## Overview

If Cirrus Insight doesn't automatically load in Gmail, follow the steps below  *in order* to * *troubleshoot common issues in Chrome.

## Steps

**1.** Confirm that Cirrus Insight is **installed** and **enabled** in your Chrome extensions. 

- **A.** To access your Chrome extensions, copy the text below, paste it into your browser URL bar, and press enter: *chrome://extensions/*
- **B. **If you don't see Cirrus Insight,** **[install Cirrus Insight 2019 Chrome extension](https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/cirrus-insight/kohihleiencpadoaakajafdlmcimglea?hl=en). 
- **C.**If you do see Cirrus Insight listed but it's not enabled, **re-enable**. 
- **D.** If you made any changes, close Gmail and **re-open** it in a new tab.

**2. **[Close the Google products right side panel](https://support.google.com/mail/answer/106237?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en).

**3.** [Update Chrome](https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95414?co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop&hl=en) if the sidebar still doesn't appear in your inbox.  
After updating, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

**4.** [Clear your cache](https://www.cirrusinsight.com/2019-knowledgebase/support/gmail/how-do-i-clear-my-cache-in-chrome) if the issue persists.  
After clearing, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

**5.** [Clear your Gmail local storage](https://www.cirrusinsight.com/2019-knowledgebase/support/gmail/clear-gmail-local-storage-chrome) if the issue persists.  
After clearing, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

**6.** Disable conflicting extensions if the issue persists.
