Note: This feature is only available on the Closer plan.
Attach supports the pre-population of data into the 'Information Required' form that will be displayed to unidentified visitors to your document, by appending a query string to your attach link.
This will automatically add the recipient’s details to Attach and save you the hassle of creating a unique link for each individual.
The supported query parameters are:
To do this:
- Make sure you create a CUSTOM link and leave on "ASK VISITORS FOR INFO" and email checked (i.e. don't change from the default settings).
- Once you have your link, add this to the end of it:
- Append the mail merge tag to the back of that. For example, in MailChimp that would look like this:
Different email tools have different ways of passing the data, but we've given some examples of popular tools below. If you require additional assistance for a different tool please contact email@example.com.
