Flight Plans FAQ

The information below is a listing of frequently asked questions that beta users of Flight Plans have asked. This list will be updated and added to often.

Q: When a lead is created in SF, can it auto-trigger a Flight Plan for that Lead?

A: Yes, through APEX/ process builder

Q: Are Flights paused automatically if a rep has interaction with a passenger?

A: Yes

Q: What’s the purpose of dollar amount attributed to Outcomes if we don’t do anything like this currently at our organization?

A: Attributing a dollar amount to a given Outcome can assist you in discovering the value associated with a specific Flight Plan (e.g, a Flight Plan's ROI resulting from high or low performance in achieving sales goals)

Q: Are Salesforce fields created and auto-updated if someone is added/removed from a Flight Plan?

A: Yes, through APEX/ process builder.

Q: Can custom fields in an org be used to update Flight status or  update Cirrus Insight fields?

A: Yes, through APEX/ process builder.

Q: When is this launching?

A: The Pilot is currently happening with the launch in June.

Q: Can you change a Flight Plan dependant on certain outcomes? (For example: opened email; if no reply send email A; if no open send email B)

A: This is on our roadmap.

Q: Can this data be exported?

A: Activities can be, but Outcomes currently cannot.

Q: How many people can be added to a Flight at one time via Reporting/List Views?

A: 100

Q: Is there a limit to the number of people in a flight plan?

A: No, but can only add 100 at a time via Reports/List Views

Q: Can we import list of contacts directly to Flight Plans?

A: Not yet, but on our roadmap.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of emails that can be sent each day?

A: Yes, Google limits the number to 1,500.

Q: Can you restrict permissions on your Flight Plans?

A: Not yet. Ideally the manager creates the FPs for team.

Q: Can you differentiate or report between Flight Plans activities and regular activities?

A: Not currently.

Q: What happens when someone stops a flight accidentally--can they restart it at step 6?

A: Only skip + retry at the moment on a one-by-one basis.

Q: When you edit a flight plan, does it retroactively edit existing flights?

A: Yes

Q: What is snooze? How is it different than pause?

A: Snooze just drops the action item lower in your list so you can focus on the top action items. It's still due at the original time. Pausing effectively removes it from the action items and stops the clock on it.

Q: Where do you pull people from in Salesforce to add them to Flights?

A: Listviews and reports (same as campaigns).

Q: Can we customize/edit the Flight Plans reports?

A: For V1 this isn’t currently available, but we plan to have that for V2.

Q: How does the calling work?

A: The call is directed to the user's cell phone through Cirrus Insight mobile app. User marks call as completed.

Q: Do Outcomes get logged to Salesforce?

A: For V1 this isn’t currently available, but we plan to have that for V2.

Q: Can you add someone to a Flight Plan from Salesforce?

A: For V1 this isn’t currently available, but we plan to have that for V2.
