What can I do if Cirrus Insight disappears from my inbox?

Overview

If Cirrus Insight doesn't automatically load in Gmail, you can quickly troubleshoot your browser. To do so, follow the steps below in order until you find a solution.

Steps

1. Confirm that Cirrus Insight is installed and enabled in your browser. 

  •   Chrome users: Copy the following, paste it into your browser URL bar, and press enter. 
    • chrome://extensions/
  •   Firefox users: Copy the following, paste it into your browser URL bar, and press enter.
    • about:addons

2. If you don't see Cirrus Insight listed as an extension/add-on, install Cirrus Insight. If you do see Cirrus Insight listed but it's not enabled, re-enable.
Before proceeding, close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

3. If the sidebar doesn't appear in your inbox, update Chrome or update Firefox.
Close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

4. If the issue persists, clear your browser cache.
Close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

5. If you still don't see the Cirrus Insight sidebar, clear your Gmail local storage.
Close Gmail and re-open it in a new tab.

6. If the issue persists, disable conflicting extensions.
