About the Author

Brandon Bruce was raised in rural Los Olivos, California where he attended grade school à la Little House on the Prairie. He graduated near the top of his class of two students.

Today, he lives in Knoxville, Tennessee where he enjoys running, cycling, and canoeing in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and the Urban Wilderness. Years ago he raced his bicycle in the Furnace Creek 508 through Death Valley and finished in 35 hours and 7 minutes (but who's counting, really).
