This policy explains how Cirrus Insight uses cookies on www.cirrusinsight.com, what information they collect, who else can read them, and how you can control them.
This policy applies to our public website. It does not describe how we handle data inside the Cirrus Insight application, or any collection that happens without cookies — both are covered in our Privacy Policy.

1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store on your device. When you return, the browser sends it back, which lets the site recognise your session, remember a preference, or count a visit.
A first-party cookie is set by the site you are visiting. A third-party cookie is set by a different company whose code runs on the page — an analytics provider, for example. Third parties can generally read their own cookies across any site where their code appears, which is why we name them in section 3.
Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay until they expire or you delete them.
2. The categories we use
We group cookies by what they are for. This matters because it determines whether we need your consent before setting them.

3. Third parties that set cookies
These companies set or read cookies when you use our website. Each is an independent controller of the data it collects through its own cookies, and its own privacy notice governs what it does with that data.
- HubSpot — our website and marketing platform. Analytics and session handling.
- Google — Tag Manager and Analytics. Tag delivery and website measurement.
We do not sell personal information. Some advertising and analytics activity may constitute "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under California law, and you can opt out — see section 4.
4. Your choices
On this site. When you first visit, we ask for your choices before setting any non-essential cookies. You can change those choices at any time using the "Manage cookie preferences" control on this page.
Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it, and does not affect anything that happened before you withdrew it.
Cookie preferences are not the same as opting out of sale or sharing. If you are a California resident and want to exercise your right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, use Your Privacy Choices. The cookie control on this page manages cookies only.
In your browser. Every major browser lets you block or delete cookies, and most offer a setting to block third-party cookies specifically. These controls apply across every site you visit, not just ours. You will normally find them under Settings, then Privacy or Site permissions. Blocking cookies at the browser level may stop parts of this site from working.
With the third parties directly. Several of the companies in section 3 offer their own opt-out mechanisms, listed on their privacy notices.
5. What happens if you refuse
The site will still work. Refusing non-essential cookies means:
- We will not measure your visit in our analytics, so it will not inform how we improve the site.
- Preferences you set may not persist between visits, so you may need to set them again.
- We will not measure whether an advertisement led you here, and advertising you see elsewhere will be less relevant to you rather than absent.
- Strictly necessary cookies will still be set, because the site cannot function without them.
Refusing has no effect on your Cirrus Insight account, your access to the product, or the support you receive.
6. Browser signals and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers and extensions can send an automated signal telling websites you do not want your personal information sold or shared. The most widely supported is Global Privacy Control (GPC).
We recognize and honor the GPC signal. If your browser sends it when you visit, we treat it as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, and we will display confirmation that the signal was honored. You do not need to do anything else.
We do not currently respond to the older "Do Not Track" browser setting, which has no agreed standard for how sites should interpret it.
7. International transfers
Cirrus Insight is based in the United States, and information collected through the cookies described here is processed there. Several of the third parties in section 3 operate globally and may process information in other countries.
Where information about visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland is transferred to the United States, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, together with additional technical and organizational measures. Our Privacy Policy describes this in full.
8. Changes to this policy
We update this policy when we add, remove or change the cookies we use.
Where a change materially affects what we collect or who can read it, we will ask for your consent again rather than relying on consent you gave for something different.
