Update Cirrus Sidebar: October 2025

We recently launched an update to our sidebar to ensure we are prepared for Microsoft turning off their legacy Outlook REST API on October 14th. In some cases the sidebar update did not automatically install for some users. 

To update to the latest sidebar version, follow these steps to reinstall the sidebar: 

  1. In the ribbon Click All Apps
  2. Right click on Cirrus Insight and click Uninstall
  3. Accept the prompt to uninstall it
  4. Once done, click All Apps again and click Add Apps in the bottom right corner
  5. Search for "Cirrus Insight for Outlook" and click Add
  6. Accept the prompt that appears
  7. Once you've done this, the sidebar should be up-to-date

Important:

If you can't uninstall the sidebar or if it's not visible in All Apps, contact your Office 365 admin for assistance with reinstalling it.
