2019 Dreamforce Sessions the Cirrus Insight Team is Excited About

Fresh off the release of Marc Benioff’s new book, Trailblazer: The Power of Business as the Greatest Platform for Change, the Cirrus Insight team is excited to see what’s next for Salesforce and the community we’re all a part of.
Luckily, we won’t have to wait long to satisfy our curiosity.
The annual and spectacular Salesforce conference, Dreamforce, is mere weeks away. The event kicks off on Tuesday, November 19 and goes through Friday, November 22.
Every year, we run a VIP contest to give one lucky winner the ultimate Dreamforce experience. Our 2019 winner has been selected — and he’s been to Dreamforce every year for the past five years! Since he’s somewhat of a Dreamforce expert, we interviewed him about his tips for first time attendees.
Last year, we reported that Dreamforce would be made up of over 2500 sessions. This year, attendees will have to decide between over 2700 sessions, including stand out options from former president Barack Obama, Apple’s CEO Tim Cook, actress Emilia Clarke, World Cup champion Megan Rapinoe, and author Deepak Chopra, M.D.
Essentially, wherever you’re looking to skill up, there’s a Dreamforce session for you.
Several of our employees will be in attendance during the week (we wouldn’t miss it for the world!), alternating their time between meeting with customers at our booth and attending the Dreamforce sessions of their choice.
We asked them which Dreamforce sessions they’re most excited about, and this is what they had to say:
Chris Braun, Account Executive
I’m excited for “5 Strategies to Boost Partner Portal Adoption”.
As Cirrus Insight is looking to revitalize this part of our sales model, I am interested in hearing Cesar Castro's ideas for establishing and managing a partner portal. I truly think that this can be an important competitive differentiator for our organization.

I’m excited for “How Entrepreneurs Find Success on AppExchange”.
I’ll admit to a slight bias — we’re friends with the team at Metazoa. But this talk is super intriguing from another angle: the founders of Metazoa built the first app on the Salesforce App Exchange. They've sponsored Dreamforce every year since 2003, so they know the Salesforce ecosystem extremely well and have lots of valuable insights.
This session is especially relevant to members of the team at Cirrus Insight, since we found our early success on the App Exchange.

I’ve bookmarked a few sessions that I’m excited about, “Pardot’s Product Roadmap: The Future of B2B Marketing and Beyond” and “Women in Tech: Spark Women-Owned Businesses in the Salesforce Economy”.
That second session features the talents of Andrea Tarrell, CEO of Sercante — one of our partners at Cirrus Insight that helps us get the most out of Pardot.
Speaking of Pardot, I’ll be staffing the Pardot “Ask the Experts” Bar as a B2B Marketing Genius for an hour starting at 9 am on Thursday morning. Come find me — located in the back of the Pied Piper in the Palace Hotel — and we can nerd out about marketing automation!
Ryan Niemann, CEO
I’m excited for “4 Building Blocks for Achieving Sales Excellence”. This seems like a natural fit for what we’re helping customers achieve at Cirrus Insight — ensuring the success of processes backed by data.
Depending on where I’m needed during Dreamforce, I’m hoping to also make it to sessions about Salesforce Einstein and Mulesoft to see how our organization can best put these technologies to work (and learn more about how customers are using them).
It’s been almost a year since I first started with Cirrus Insight and going to Dreamforce gives me a chance to reflect on our growth over the past 12 months. After seeing how our innovative suite of sales productivity tools has helped customers achieve greater efficiencies in their respective organizations, I can’t wait to share what we have planned for Cirrus Insight in 2020 and beyond.
